Schizophragma hyd. ‘Shiro Fuka fukurin fu’

Description

Exercise caution while pronouncing the name of this fabulous, self-clinging climber!  A close relative of the much-loved Hydrangea petioralis, Schizophragma hyd. ‘Shiro Fuka fukurin fu’ has beautiful, ovate leaves with striking white varigation.  Stunning heads of delicate, white Hydrangea-like flowers appear during summer.  Being deciduous, you can expect some autumn colour before leaves fall adding further interest to this versitile, woody climber which will support itself with aerial roots.  An excellent addition to any garden and will tolerate full sun or partial shade.
