Description
A wonderfully vigourous shrub with fabulous red and purple flowers which form dark black-purple berries. This is a hardy variety prefering light shade and free draining soil. Berries are edible – also popular with birds, and may be made into jam if desired. In harsh winters foliage will fall, resprouting in the spring. Elegant, hardy, colouful and edible – what more could you possibly want?
