Description
Trachelospermum asiaticum is very similar to it’s more common cousin the jasminoides but with smaller leaves and flowers a creamy white, though just as fragrant. It’s main difference however is that it is hardier making it more suitable for cooler locations. In a nutshell if you live in the north go for this one. In the south you have a choice, white or cream flowers. Best planted against a sheltered sunny wall. This climber will need support in the form of wires or a trellis. Plant next to a seating area where its fabulous fragrance can truly be appreciated on a warm summers evening.
