Pinus montezumae

Description

Pinus montezumae is a simply gorgeous pine, known and loved for the most fabulous long, tactile ‘needles’ and their wonderful broad, domed crown.  Native to Mexico and will enjoy very well drained soil in a well ventilated area.  Give your beautiful pine plenty of space to develop a well-rounded form.  Although Pinus montezumae will enjoy a breeze, it will not tolerate salt so avoid coastal locations.  Here we have a limited number of young plants, grown by us.
