Description
Pachysandra terminalis is an extraordinarily useful evergreen which provides excellent ground cover and interest. Suited to semi-shaded and full shade positions where it will create a dense ‘mat’ of zesty green foliage. The leaves are glossy with pretty serrated edges and to add to the interest small white flowers appear on erect stems during the summer months. If you’re wondering what to use for your understorey or shade planting, this is a must-have. Excellent planted amongst other shade and semi-shade lovers such as Ferns, Hellebores and Sarcococca to name a few. Will reach up to 50cm in height and in time, may spread to around 1m. Plant in fertile, moistur retentive but free draining soil.
