Description
Banksia integrifolia is a wonderful species of evergreen tree and one of the hardiest Banksia. Native to Australia, this fabulous variety will produce spikes of creamy yellow flowers during late summer-autumn; it is salt and wind tolerant making it highly useful for coastal gardens here in the UK. The leaves are thick and leathery in deep green with silvery undersides. Plant in very well drained soil, do add some grit to improve drainage and place in a sunny position.
