Schefflera actinophylla

Description

Schefflera actinophylla, otherwise known as ‘Australian Umbrella Tree’ is a beautiful Australian native, grown here in the UK as a fabulous houseplant.  The glossy leaves are bright green and made up of 7-16 leaflets which are arranged in an umbrella shape, held on red stems.  Highly exotic and a beautiful addition to your houseplant collections.  

Position in a bright spot but not in direct sunlight and water regularly in the growing season but – do not allow the plant to sit in water.  It is normal for a little leaf drop after transportation, so don’t panic.
