Description
Phormium tenax ‘Alison Blackman’ is a fantastic cultivar of ‘New Zealand Flax’ boasting boldly coloured leaves which are olive green with a cream stripe and bright orange margin. Will reach around 1.5 metres in height and spread. As with all New Zealand flaxen, it is tolerant of coastal conditions and exposed sites. They don’t mind growing in pots and are very easy to maintain. Best suited in a sunny position and free-draining soil. As with all Phormiums, it is tolerant of coastal conditions and exposed sites.
