Description
Furcraea longaeva is a fabulous large, Yucca-like plant with broad, long leaves which are smooth and soft to the touch. The leaves are a wonderful glaucous blue-green and form a globe-shaped plant . When mature a large flower spike will start to form reaching up to 3m in height – it’s quite spectacular. White flowers open and eventually form bulbils which can be grown on into new plants wit the mother plant eventually dying off – but who cares? You will ave an abundance of bulbils to grow on!
This is a bold and architectural plant, perfect for planting in coastal loactions. PLant in a free draining sunny position and enjoy the show.
