Phormium ‘Sundowner’

Description

Phormium ‘Sundowner’ is a beautiful, colourful variety which as the name suggests is reminiscent of a sunset. A clump-forming, evergreen perennial with upright narrow leaves of bronze-green, striped towards the margins with red and pink. Height up to 1.5m. Spread 1.5m. As with all Phormiums, this is an excellent coastal plant and will thrive in a sunny, well-drained position. Great in a mixed border amongst grasses and other herbaceous plants where it will give a striking contrast in colour.
