Agave potatotorum ‘Variegatum’

Description

Agave potatotorum ‘Variegatum’ is an absolutely stunning variety, forming a dense, uniform and compact rosete of gorgeous, fleshy glaucous leaves with creamy variegation; reaching up to around 40cm in width and height.  Leaves have dark bubrgundy spines.  This is an ideal candidate for container growing, although said to be hardy to around minnus 10c, we would suggest keeping it indoors during the colder months or in a cool greenhouse.  Avoid the winter wet at all costs!  Plant in free draining soil in a sunny position.  One for the collectors….or any lover of Agave.  Truly beautiful.
