Description
Strelitzia augusta is another exotic treat, suitable in the UK as a conservatory or house plant. Otherwise known as ‘White Bird of Paradise’, Strelitzia augusta produces huge, jungly grey-green leaves which are paddle shaped.
The flowers are classic in appearance however unlike other Strelitzia they are fabulous shades of white with black-puple bracts. Requires a bright position indoors although will tolerate being outside during the hotter months.
