Strelitzia reginae ‘Mandela’s Gold’ is a wonderful form of the much loved and fabulously exotic S. reginae with beautiful yellow-gold flowers. Otherwise known as ‘Bird of Paradise’, Strelitzia flowers from mid-winter through until spring with stunning orange flowers (or in this case gold-yellow) resembling the head of a crane.

Strelitzia reginae requires a sunny position in free draining soil. Excellent in a container and ideal for the conservatory. Will tolerate being outdoors during the hottest months. A must-have for lovers of all things exotic!
