Mahonia confusa ‘Narihira’

Description

Mahonia confusa ‘Narihira’ is a beautifully tactile variety with wonderful soft, fern-like foliage.  During autumn-winter, clusters of zingy yellow flower spikes form standing out boldly above the rich-green foliage.  These are followed by blue-black berries, loved by birds.

‘Narihira’ is a wonderfully versitile evergreen shrub ideal for planting in full sun – partial shade where it will reach between 1-1.5m in height/spread.  The striking flowers bring a lovely late hit of bright colour and a late treat for pollinators – so not only a beautiful plant worthy of a place in ANY garden….great for nature too.

Plant in free draining, fertile soil and enjoy the show.
