Description

Podophyllum versipelle ‘Spotty Dotty’ is a fabulous shade-lover giving a wonderful display of highly unusual other-worldly foliage. This much sought-after semi-evergreen sends up beautiful deep green large flat, lobed leaves decorated with striking burgundy spots which fade out as leaves mature. As if that isn’t enough, deep red-maroon flowers appear during late June-July hanging under the foliage. Will reach a height and spread of around 40-50cm.

Plant in fertile moisture retentive soil in a shady position and give some protection from frosts using a layer of mulch.
