Description
Trochodendron aralioides is a really special plant. It’s the only living species in the genus Trochodendron and we adore it. The foliage is arranged in beautiful tight spirals and the lanceolate leaves are deep green, often lime green. During winter months foliage can take on shades of bronze.
May be grown in sun-partial shade in free draining fertile soil. Can also be grown in a container very successfully and careful clipping will ensure the elegant and rounded habit is kept, although clipping isn’t often required. Trochodendron araliaoides is perfectly hardy and if left to grow may reach up to 2-3m after 15-20 years or so.

A fine healthy plant was supplied…speedy delivery…well packaged…I can never speak to highly of BIG PLANT NURSERY …always top notch plants supplied..I wish I lived nearer as I would be a very regular visitor
