Paulownia tomentosa the ‘Foxglove Tree’ is an amazing tree in its own right but for lovers of large leaves this tree when coppiced produces huge leaves up to 0.8m or more across. The coppiced tree itself can reach 3m+ in just a single season. Left to its own devices, grown as a tree it can reach 9m tall. Perhaps one of the most striking features are the wonderful pale blue flowers produced in spring on bare branches before the leaves are formed. Ideal for the exotic garden.
