Description
Citrus australasica var. microcitrus better known as ‘Australian Finger lime’ finge is rapidly becoming very popular as an easy citrus plant to grow readily producing sweet smelling flowers which are followed by finger limes. These large plants are strong healthy, grown on by us here in the U.K and either have flowers or fruit forming.
This rare variety has beautiful reddish coloured citrus pearls inside the dark green to purplish fruits. Not only are they highly ornamental they add delicious tasty citrus explosions to any dish.
They can be grown in a conservatory, cool glasshouse, or bright windowsill indoors. Finger limes are also happy outside during the warmer months. We feed ours weekly with a seaweed-based fertiliser.
