Matteuccia struthiopteris

Description

Matteuccia struthiopteris is a stunnning deciduous fern, otherwise known as the ‘Shuttlecock Fern’ owing to the fabulous upright formation of large, lacy zingy green fronds.  Ideal for a shaded or semi shaded position in a damp location.  Also suitable for container growing. Plant in fertile, moisture retentive soil in a sheltered position.
