Agapanthus ‘Cascade Diamond’

Description

Agapanthus ‘Cascade Diamond’ is a fabulously elegant semi-evergreen variety producing beautiful pure white flowers held on tall stems reaching up to 1.2m in height.  The flowers are of course the classic Agapanthus-style trumpets but as the name suggests, they hang downwards….cascading. Flowers appear during late-spring to summer and as they mature can take on a very pale hint of pink.

Agapanthus ‘Cascade Diamond’ is an excellent variety to include in mixed herbaceous borders planted amongst grasses, it may also be grown in containers to great effect.  Being semi-evergreen, don’t panic if during the winter months the foliage dies back – it will reappear in spring.

As with all Agapanthus, plant in free draining soil in a sunny position.
