Angelica pachycarpa

Description

Angelica pachycarpa is a wonderful variety producing an abundance of deep green glossy foliage.  Tall umbels of greeny-yellow flowrs are held above the foliage on thick stems creating a bold and architectural effect.  Plant in full sun to partial shade in a sheltered position in fertile moisture retentive soil.  Give your Angelica plenty of space to put on a wonderful show, positioning it at the back or middle of the border, it will reach up to 1.5-2.5m in height.  Seeds will form once the flowers have gone over and may self set, if you’re concerned about this simply remove the seedheads.
