Description
Hosta T-Rex is another Hosta similar to ‘Empress Wu’ growing to huge proportions with large paddle shaped deep green wavy leaves. It can form a clump over 1.5m wide and over a metre high. The leaves are leathery to touch and once mature are held high enough to help deter slugs and snails. As always with large growing hostas add lots of organic compost when planting, positioning in a dappled shade spot away from exposed windy positions. Massive growth can be encouraged with additional watering during dry periods plus regular mulching and feeding. An easy to grow hardy exotic herbaceaous plant.
