Description
A fast growing and very reliable purple leaved Maple. Left to its own devices it will keep an open, vase like shape. Almost immediately recognised by the fact that the leaves roll under at the edges giving a claw-like appearance. In the autumn, the tree looks like it has been covered in a glowing red carpet of leaves.
