Aloe marlothii

Description

Aloe marlothii, otherwise known as ‘The Mountain Aloe, forms a dense rosette of beautiful blue-green leaves helf on a sturdy stem.  In its natural habitat , it has the potential to reach up to 4m in height with multiple heads however here in the UK Aloe marlothii is perhaps more suited to container growing where it can be moved outside during the warmer months to create a fabulous exotic display.  During the summer months, established plants form tall flower spikes with bold orange-red flowers.   Place in fill sun in free draining soil and keep frostfree and o n thedry. side during thewinter months.
